ums, dads, kids and grandparents tucked into barbecue treats and tasty desserts at this year's annual garden party. The weather stayed mostly dry and everyone enjoyed party games, prizes and meeting neighbours. Michael and Valerie Tate played host, giving gardening enthusiasts the chance to admire their impressive flower beds and runaway runner beans! David Cowan and Louise Radford arrived with their three-month old son Jamie while older children like Leon Harrison and Connor McDermott enjoyed some female company at their table for three. The raffle was drawn by PERA chairman Robin Corbett, who presented Val Tate with a beautiful Campsis. PE residents Bill Lear, Lynne Dyson and Val Corbett enjoyed sampling one of the raffle prizes, a pot of lavender body cream.
